Taylor's hair is naturally thick and shoulder length with great soft layers, which is a great base to create versatile looks from smooth and sleek to voluminous and curly.

Colour

Carolyn Newman

Colour Director

Taylor Swift has naturally light cool blonde hair. The colour has been achieved by a  dip-dyed colour technique where fine slices of hair have been taken throughout the whole head. On each slice, the roots have been left natural, the mid length of the slice has been coloured with a light pearl blonde and the tips of the hair with a lightest blonde. This is great if you want a soft ‘un-coloured’ effect on your hair.’

"To recreate this look..."

  1. STYLE

    Stay Cool Heat Defence Spritz

Prep hair with Charles Worthington Front Row Heat Defense Spray and set hair in heated rollers to create volume, curl and texture.

Place in the low side parting and then gently gather into hands and place into a low side ponytail, once a band is in you can tease the crown area to enhance height and texture.

Place a bun ring through the ponytail and secure to head with pins, then take small sections of the ponytail, softly backbrush to give volume and twist back to the bun and grip. Continue to do this with all sections.

With the top section let this fall naturally across the face to give the swept look and pull to the bun and grip.

  2. FINISH

    Forever Lasting Hairspray

Spritz with Front Row Hairspray to finish.
